A student has scored 100% marks in Karnataka State Board Class 10 exams to become the topper among a whopping 13 lakh students. Mohammad Kaif Mulla from St Xavier High School, Belgaum, had scored 624 marks out of 625 but decided to go for a revaluation. The decision paid off as the Board declared that the boy scored cent per cent marks in all subjects.
His father Haroon Rashid Mulla is an Urdu teacher, while his mother Parveen Mulla teaches Kannada, both at government schools. The 15-year-old aspires to be a civil servant and wishes to serve the society and provide education to marginalised child labourers.
Kaif said that, after answering the questions at the exams, he checked with his teachers and notebooks and model answer sheet and found that all his answers were absolutely correct, say reports. He added that he got the expected result on revaluation.
