Speaking to the press on Saturday, CM Siddaramaiah confidently stated that the Congress will once again come to power in Karnataka. He reportedly said that if Yeddyurappa (BJP's chief ministerial candidate) thinks that he will become the CM, then he must be mentally disturbed.
The Karnataka Assembly elections 2018 on 222 seats out of 224 seats took place on Saturday. According to reports, the Election Commission confirmed that Karnataka saw a 70 per cent voters turnout. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Chikkaballapura and Ramanagara at 76 per cent. The lowest was recorded at Bengaluru Urban at 48 per cent.
