Maha Govt Demolishes Actress Kangana's Office; Bombay HC orders Stay! - Updates
Home > News Shots > India newsThe Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a notice on Wednesday to actress Kangana Ranaut. BMC was seeking for her to reply about some ‘illegal alteration and construction’ in the premises of the actress’ Manikarnika films Office in Khar West.
The BMC had commenced demolition of the building on Wednesday. The actress responded to it via tweet and had approached the Bombay High Court on Wednesday challenging the notice which was issued by BMC.
The demolition work had commenced at around 11am according to PTI’s report.

The Bombay High Court has ordered a stay on BMC’s demolition activity at Kangana’s Mumbai office. Kangana’s plea was heard after the demolition work began.

“The 33-year-old actress, who is scheduled to reach Mumbai later in the day, has alleged that the Maharashtra government is targeting her because of her fight with the Shiv Sena,” CNN News 18 reported.
