Student sets self on fire on university campus

One Neetu, a 25-year-old first-year MSc student of the Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad, attempted suicide by setting herself on fire on Wednesday. The student is reported to have attempted suicide for scoring low marks.
 

Presently, Neetu is availing treatment at the state-run Osmania General Hospital. She is reported to have suffered 40-50% burns, according to the doctors from the University who offered her medical aid initially.
