"Daddy, don't do this" - teen's horror tale of sexual abuse

Deccan Chronicle reports that a 13-year-old girl from Hyderabad was sexually assaulted by a man who she called ‘daddy’. NDTV reports that the teen took a lot of courage to speak up against the man whom her widowed mother married eight years ago.
 

The man is said to have assaulted the teen for the first time in April last month and told her to not tell her mother about the same. Later when the matter came to light, the accused pleaded for forgiveness but ultimately returned to his old ways.
 

The latest in the case is the accused being arrested after absconding for a little while earlier.
