Cyclone Amphan has had a devastating impact on West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Thursday that the death toll has increased to 72 and casualties were reported across 8 districts. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced today that Rs 1,000 crore immediate relief package will be sent to West Bengal in view of the devastation and casualties caused by Cyclone Amphan.
