Barber beaten up for giving haircuts to Dalits

Four men were booked for allegedly beating up a barber in Gujarat's Mehsana district on Monday for allegedly giving haircuts to Dalits. The victim's mother claimed that the accused warned the barber to not give Dalits haircuts, but apparently, her son ignored the threats. Meanwhile, the Dalits in the village told the police that no one had warned them against visiting the barber.
