Upset with the behaviour of drunk tourists, the residents of Surla village in North Goa have demanded that the bars in the area should be either closed or relocated, says a report in The Indian Express.

The villagers claimed that tourists have been harassing them and even engaging in fights with bar owners and alcohol vendors.

Reportedly, a resolution has been signed by 500 villagers to close the bars.
