A tourist boat carrying 120 passengers on the Godavari River, Andhra Pradesh suddenly caught fire on Friday. Reportedly, the accident occurred as the boat owners violated the government's rules and regulations and exceeded the minimum passenger limit.
Most of the victims are residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to News7 reports, 80 people have been retrieved safely. The fire department is currently working to recover the rest.
