A NEET aspirant named Kasthuri Mahalingam was writing the NEET medical test in Kerala’s Ernakulam centre while his father waited outside died of cardiac arrest. Krishnasamy, the deceased, is a government employee from Thiruthuraipoondi in Tamil Nadu. He took his son to Ernakulam to take the NEET test. The son Kasthuri, without the knowledge of his father’s death, was taking the test inside the exam centre. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has ordered the Chief Secretary of the state to take necessary actions to bring the body back to Tamil Nadu.
