Farmer Paints His Dog To Look Like A Tiger To Scare Other Animals In The Village
Home > News Shots > India newsIn order to save his crops, a farmer from Karnataka painted his dog to look like a tiger. Farmers have been struggling to keep their crops safe from monkey infestations so came up with an idea.
This hilarious incident took place in Karnataka's Malnad region in Shivamogga. Ever since, the monkeys have been destroying the crops; it has led to a huge problem for the farmers.
As per Republic World report, one of the farmers, Srikant Gowda came up with this idea of using 'fake tigers' to scare away the monkeys. He got this idea after seeing a farmer using a tiger-like doll as a scarecrow near Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district about four years ago.
After coming back, when Gowda tried the same tactic in his farms, it worked. Furthermore, he thought to paint the dogs in black lines. The farmer has also put up posters of his 'painted dog' and that of tigers in the grass to scare the monkeys, Republic World further reported.
A street dog painted like tiger can not be a tiger. Reminds me of Kanhaiyya. #JNUIssue #traitors pic.twitter.com/YgVoAC5EFm
