Amidst the continuous riots in North East Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal issued a breaking statement against the Aam Aadmi Party persons in case if any of their involvement is found in the violence.
On Thursday (February 27), Arvind Kejriwal announced several compensation schemes for all the injured and affected people in the raging violence in parts of Northeast Delhi. Further, Kejriwal added that the Delhi government will bear the medical costs that are needed to treat the patients (people injured from the violence) who are being admitted at many private hospitals across Delhi.
While the Delhi government has started to send food supplies in curfew-affected areas as per Kejriwal's statements, the chief minister has issued strong orders saying "Give double punishment if an AAP person is found guilty of inciting violence in Delhi" as per NDTV.
According to the recent reports, the death toll in Delhi rose up to 35. It has to be mentioned that the increase in numbers is close to double-fold when compared to February 26 (Wednesday) when 20 people were reported to be dead because of the violence.
