An alcoholic man from Andhra Pradesh ridden with debt tried to sell his wife and minor daughter for money. The man had allegedly signed a bond to sell his minor daughter for Rs 1.5 lakh after she reaches puberty. His debts reportedly run close to Rs 15 lakh.
The man had also tried to sell his wife for Rs 5 lakh to his cousin. Knowing of his plans, his wife along with their five children fled to her mother's house. However, the man followed her there and allegedly continued to harass her.
The police have assured to file a case after an investigation.
