Mass killing: Dead bodies inside Open well - A simple Love affair costs 9 lives!

Telangana Police on Sunday cracked the mystery behind nine bodies that were recovered from a well in Warangal district. Police had arrested four men in connection to the case. The main accused, Sanjay Jha is from Bihar and three more people confessed that they committed the crime. 

Bodies of Mohammed Maqsood Alam and four of his family members were recovered from the well at Gorrekunta Village near Warangal on Thursday. On the next day, two more family members of Maqsood along with two men from Bihar and one from Tripura were also found in the same well.

The dead were identified as Maqsood, a native of West Bengal, his wife Nisha, daughter Bushra Khatoon, sons Shabaaz Alam, Sohail Alam and Bushra’s three-year-old son.

Sanjay was allegedly in a relationship with Maqsood’s daughter Bushra, who left her husband and had been staying with her parents. The main accused held a grudge against Maqsood’s family since they asked him to cut all ties. Others who helped the main accused, also had some grudges against the family. 

Maqsood threw a party at his house on the occasion of his son’s birthday. The main accused along with his accomplices came up with a plan and executed it during this occasion. They allegedly mixed sedatives in their soft drinks and threw the bodies off in an open well. 

Multiple teams were formed by Warangal Police to gather evidence and solve this challenging case.

Police told the media that the 4 accused men are likely to be produced before media on Monday.
