Missing For 8 Days, COVID-19 Patient's Body Found In Hospital Toilet : Report!
Home > News Shots > India newsIn a shocking case, the body of an 82-year-old woman who had gone missing last week was found in the toilet of a government hospital in Maharashtra.
The deceased identified as Malati Nehete, 82 was a coronavirus positive patient. She went missing from June 2, at Civil hospital in Jalgoan Maharashtra. After days of search, she was found dead in the hospital toilet on Wednesday.
The doctors and other staff members could only discover her body after people broke open the door of the toilet as patients complained of stench.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra BJP leader Kirit Somaiya took to social media and said the woman's grandson told him: “It's shocking, we want justice”. “We will get them Justice,” Somaiya said, tagging former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
This is not the first case, where such an incident has taken place, earlier an 80-year-old patient, who was being treated in the COVID-19 ward of a government hospital disappeared and was found dead near the Borivali railway station.
