A 32-year-old private firm employee in Bangalore, Anup and his wife Soumya, 24 committed suicide as they had frequent fights about the latter's Facebook addiction.
It is learnt that Anup was not in favour of Soumya spending too much time on Facebook and even making friends with strangers. It was at this point that he had threatened her saying that he would divorce her in case she didn't pay heed to his suggestion.
Soumya's brother was to visit the couple on Sunday and sort out things. However, Soumya took the extreme step before then and it is suspected that Anup who was found hanging in another room could have taken to the noose out of fear of abetment of suicide.
The couple leaves behind a three-year-old son.
