“We are preparing for air evacuation from Wuhan tomorrow in the evening. This flight will carry those Indian nationals who are in and around Wuhan and have conveyed consent for their evacuation,” a message from the Indian embassy said on Thursday evening.

“There will be another flight subsequently which will carry those who are from other parts of Hubei province,” the message, which was circulated via a social media app, WeChat added. However, students have also been told that the plan could 'change'.

It is being learnt that Indians returning from China will be placed in a 14-day quarantine.
