The class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results were declared on Saturday. Results can be checked on cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in.
Reportedly 11.06 lakh candidates appeared for the exams, out of which 9,18,762 passed. According to reports, the overall pass percentage has increased by one percent. While last year the pass percentage was 82.02, this year it increased to 83.01 percent. Trivandrum recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.32 percent. Chennai came second, with 93.87 percent.
Unsurprisingly, girls have scored higher than boys. While the pass percentage for boys was 78.99 percent, girls' pass percentage was 88.31 percent. The highest mark was scored by Meghna Srivatsava from Ghaziabad, who scored 499 out of 500.
