According to reports, the Centre has stated that amendments will be made to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act). The amendments will ensure death penalty for those who rape children below 12 years.
Reportedly, the Centre has submitted a letter regarding its will to ensure maximum punishment for child rapists to the Supreme Court.
