Home > News Shots > India newsThe Enforcement Directorate who is probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case have been investigating it from the financial angle and looking into the money laundering allegations made against Rhea Chakraborty, her family members and two staffers namely Shruti Modi and Samuel Miranda. The investigation so far has revealed that the actor was not in any sort of financial crises and neither was he finding t hard to find work.
India Today in its report cited sources who revealed that according to Jayanti Saha, Sushant’s talent manager’s statement, the late actor earned around Rs 30 to Rs 35 crore in the past couple of years from various projects. The actor who was working with their talent agency, Kwaan Talent Management Agency claims that this figure can be cross verified through the bank documents and statements.
All the work-related payments which were made by the actor is going to be analyzed by the ED and is going to be compared with the expenditure incurred and investments.
“Ritesh Modi, tax consultant of Rhea Chakraborty had submitted some taxation-related and investment-related documents of Rhea to ED. The central agency is going to analyze these documents and has summoned both Ritesh Shah and Ritesh Modi for the same. Sandip Sridhar, CA of Sushant Singh Rajput, also to be called again,” India Today reported.
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly died by suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14.
