Earlier in the day, popular Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan stirred a hornet's nest when she came out with a few statements justifying casting couch in the film industry, which she withdrew later and apologised for. Now it is the turn of Congress leader Renuka Chowdhary, who retired from the Rajya Sabha recently, to offer her take on the issue. Considered by many to be an outspoken politician, Renuka Chowdhary, who on her part was at the receiving end of a few not so flattering comments herself, said, "It is not just in the film industry. It happens everywhere and it is the bitter truth. Don’t imagine that parliament is immune or other workplaces are immune to it. It is time that India stood up and said 'Me Too'."
