Cab Driver - Passenger Love Relationship takes Ugly turn, Ends in Murder!

Thipesami (26) the accused resides in Marathahalli, Bangalore. He works as a cab driver, and is said to have met Nayana (24) when she was a passenger. Around 8 months ago, both of them fell in love and moved in together. However, after Thipesami had asked Nayana’s hand in marriage, she had denied it and added that she wishes to marry someone else as she was in love.
Aggravated by her response, both of them have had a serious argument. Agitated Nayana took a knife and attacked Thipesami, who was stabbed in his hand. She also took a pan to hit him, when Thipesamai managed to grab it from her. He has also admitted to have attacked her with the same pan.
As a result of a heavy head injury, Nayana died on the spot.
Thipesami managed to go to the police station and surrender himself. The police have said that he has a severe hand injury and that the deceased’s body has been sent for post-mortem. The accused also been arrested immediately.
