Brave pet dog saves his family from landslip in Kerala

Kerala is facing one of its worst rainfall ever, the damages of which has been estimated to be around Rs 8,316 crore. The death toll in the state has risen to 39 and shutters of 27 dams were opened.

Thanks to the efforts of a brave little dog from Idukki district, the death toll was maintained as it is. Rocky's barks alerted his family of a landslip following which they managed to run to safety.

Mohanan and his wife were sleeping when Rocky woke them up at around 3 am with his barks. The couple went out to check on the dog, moments after which their house caved in. Mohanan shared the experience with a television channel.
