At a time when Aadhaar is coming under a lot of scrutiny, Microsoft founder Bill Gates when asked if India's Aadhaar technology is worth emulating by other countries, replied with an 'Yes'. "Aadhaar in itself doesn't pose any privacy issue because it's just a bio ID verification scheme," he is quoted to have said by Times Now.
