A group of four men, posing as cops, thrashed the driver and drove a bus of Lama Travels to park in a godown where passengers were forced to sit for over four hours. The bus with 42 passengers on board from Bengaluru to Kannur was waylaid on Mysore road on Friday night. After the vehicle was parked and locked in the godown, a passenger called the police, who rushed to the spot and rescued all the passengers. Reports suggest that the bus was diverted to the godown as the financial firm, with whom the travels had a loan, wanted the money back. Police have reportedly arrested four persons, while three other suspects are on the run, reports added.
