Bengaluru priest arrested after plotting to sacrifice wife for treasure

According to reports, a 39-year-old priest was arrested for allegedly plotting to sacrifice his wife for treasure hidden in his temple. Mahalingesh, the priest, was arrested in a joint operation by the Karnataka State Commission for Women and Bengaluru district police after his 35-year-old wife filed a complaint. The man is also accused of sexually assaulting his daughter.
