Beauty queen pushes daughter from 20th floor, commits suicide

Winner of the title "Shining Star" in the Mrs. India Karnataka - 2019 beauty pageant, Jyoti Malani, killed her 7-year-old daughter by pushing her off 20th floor and jumped to death in Bengaluru, reports TOI.

The incident took place in an apartment in JP Nagar in Puttenahalli on Monday. She had reportedly uploaded four videos of her and her daughter and then took the step.

Reportedy, she did this due to marital spat with her husband. She is from Gwalior and shifted to Bengaluru before marrying Pankaj in 2007, with whom she was in a relationship.

Police arrested him after her brother filed a complaint. "the couple had frequent arguments over Jyoti’s behaviour. The couple fought on Sunday as well after which Pankaj left the apartment to go to his brother’s house. This is when the deceased uploaded videos with her daughter and then killed herself and her daughter,” said police, reports TNIE.
