The banks across the Indian subcontinent will remain closed for three days since Saturday (April 28). While April 28 is the fourth Saturday, Sunday is a weekly off for banks. Further, April 30 (Monday) is a bank holiday as India celebrates Buddha Purnima on that day. Meanwhile, May 1 (International Labour Day) is also a holiday in many states of India. So, customers across the nation are alerted to finish their pending bank work by today.
