Home > News Shots > India newsIn a viral video from Bangalore, a man moral-polices a 28-year-old woman for wearing shorts in public as another man is heard speaking in support of her.
Reportedly, he stopped the woman when she was riding pillion on a two-wheeler and yelled at her for wearing what he termed as ‘improper’ clothes. He demanded her following Indian rules and wearing 'proper' clothes.
When asked if she can't wear shorts, he said, "No sir. I am educated. I am the (a) professional. Please wear proper dress code of India. Please corporate (co-operate with) the Indian rules and regulations. I am begging."
In response, another man in support of the woman tells that Indian constitution doesn't lay down rules on people's dressing choices and that everybody in the country is entitled with freedom of choice and freedom to wear anything they want.
