'Not a Temple, it is a Mosque,' All India Muslim Personal Law Board makes Shocking Claim! Details
Home > News Shots > India newsThe All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) reiterated on Tuesday that according to the Sharia, once a mosque is established at any place, it will remain to be a mosque for eternity. They also stated that “… hence Babri masjid was a masjid before, is a masjid today and shall remain a masjid.” They went on to add that "placing idols inside the masjid, doing puja or by prohibiting offering namaz there for a long time” will not change it from being a mosque.
The statement issued on Tuesday by board general secretary Maulana Mohammad Wali Rahmani mentioned, “It has always been our position that the Babri masjid was never built by demolishing any mandir or any Hindu place of worship. The Supreme Court has also affirmed our position in its November 2019 judgment."
He added, "SC has also said that remnants found after the excavation carried out below the masjid site belonged to some 12th century structure--that is 400 years before Babri Masjid was constructed."
He also mentioned that the Supreme Court verdict is not just. “Calling the entire movement led by Hindutva elements as one based on oppression, coercion, intimidation, embezzlement, usurpation and calumny, AIMPLB said it was a purely political movement with nothing to do with religion and religious teachings,” the Times of India reported.
Rahmani also requested Indian Muslims not to be disheartened with the SC Verdict and construction of temple.
