Air India senior officer threatens trainees with axe

Air India recently received many complaints from its trainees that a senior commander has been threatening them. According to the complaints, the instructor allegedly threatened trainees with an axe. AI has also received a complaint from a trainee in January that the instructor hit him on his head after taking off.

Air India immediately took action and reportedly said, "AI’s flight safety department asked the training department to immediately stop using him as an instructor and investigate the complaints. Verbal abuse itself is sufficient to remove him."
