Schools in this city to give free haircuts to students

According to reports, it was announced that primary students of Ahmedabad's municipal schools will get a free haircut every month. The move is a part of the local civic corporation's scheme - Ek Kadam Swachhate Ki Aur.

Reportedly, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation signed an agreement with the International School of Aesthetics and Spa (ISAS). According to the agreement, all the 1.28 lakh students studying in the 380 civic bodies should get a free haircut every month.

Reportedly, the parents' consent will be sought before the haircut and only men will cut for boys and women will cut for girls. The initiative's motive is to inculcate cleanliness among the students.
