The Supreme Court passed a judgment saying that there was no need of a marriage between consenting adults while hearing a case of a 20-year-old Kerala woman whose marriage has been annulled. The top court further added that an adult can choose to live with anybody they like and legal bindings like marriage aren’t necessary.
