7 women, 4 men of family found hanging at house

In a shocking incident in Delhi, bodies of 11 persons from a family were found hanging from the ceiling at their house in Delhi’s Burari area on Sunday morning. The bodies include seven women and four men.

Reportedly, the mouths and eyes of the bodies were blindfolded and gagged. No suicide note was found from the incident. The bodies were reportedly sent to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital for post-mortem.

The family, which owned a grocery store, could have taken the extreme step due to financial troubles, police reportedly suspect. However, police are also probing the angle of a murder-suicide pact.
