7 Coaches Of An Express Train Gets Derailed, Several Injured
Home > News Shots > India newsMore than 40 people are said to be injured after two trains collided due to dense fog. The incident took place between Salagaon and Nergundi railway station near Cuttack.
The train in which the passengers were travelling was Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) Express which rammed into a goods train because of low visibility due to dense fog.
As per India TV reports, 5 coaches of Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express have derailed while 3 are displaced from the track.
The driver and a senior railway officer of the Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express confirmed that there no deaths so far. Also, the exact number of injured people is not known yet. Check the photos below:
