14 die due to intense lightning shower in Andhra Pradesh

Nearly 14 people were killed after an intense lightning shower took place over Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. According to the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, 41,025 cloud-to-ground lightning strikes took place over 11 districts in AP.

Reportedly, 13 fell victim to direct lightning and one died after a tree fell over. Thousands of acres of crops were destroyed due to the lightning shower in Andhra Pradesh.
