In the horrible gangrape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in Jharkhand, 14 people have reportedly been arrested. The minor was burnt alive inside her home on Friday, allegedly by men who had raped her a night before.
Reportedly, when the girl was raped on Thursday, the family took the matter to village council head and other members of the panchayat, the accused men were let off after a punishment of 100 sit-ups and a fine of Rs. 50,000.
The accused, who were allegedly frustrated after they were punished, went to the girl’s home and burnt her alive. Six more accused are still missing.
