Nearly 10,000 voter ids were seized from an apartment in Bangalore on Tuesday just three days before the Karnataka elections. The apartment reportedly belongs to one Manjula Nanjamuri who rented it out to one Sri Rakesh.
The BJP criticised the Congress and demanded elections be cancelled in the constituency. However, sources in the Election Commission clarified that their demand is highly 'far-fetched' and cannot be carried out. The Congress alleged that both Manjula Nanjamuri and Sri Rakesh are BJP leaders and that this is one of their ploys.
The Election Commision has ordered a probe into the issue. It will investigate the apartment where the ids were found.
Close to 20,000 fake Voters ID card recovered from @INCIndia's Raja Rajeshwari Nagar constituency candidate Muniratna.
