An Emirati woman in her early 20s asked for divorce from husband after he denied her from playing the online game PUBG.

Wife files divorce as husband stopped her from playing PUBG!

Director of the Social Centre at Ajman Police, Captain Wafa Khalil who was handling the case told Gulf News, "The woman justified her demand for divorce by saying that she was being deprived of her right to chose her means of entertainment as she derived pleasure and comfort from the game."

The woman also told that she didn't enable the chat option and she didn't play with strangers. She stated that she only played with friends and relatives.

The woman came to the police station looking for help after a fight about the game became violent between the couple.

The husband told that he feared that his wife would soon become addicted to the game and neglect her duties as a wife. He also stated that it had nothing to do with supression but only an effort to keep the family together.
