Zomato's tribute to Dhoni was a 100 percent discount (of up to Rs. 183) for everyone ordering food in the capital of Jharkhand. Zomato took to their Twitter handle and said: "A gift for the city that gifted India a legend!"
This big discount became a reason for people in Ranchi to rejoice but a Twitter user replied to Zomato's tweet saying that the discount coupon should have been available across the country.
"He might be from Ranchi but the whole INDIA loves the Legend. Why not make this offer available for Pan India? (sic)" a Twitter user wrote. Minutes later, Zomato replied to it which later became a meme.
The response was - when translated "Brother, I don't have that much money."
MS Dhoni took to Instagram on August 15 to announce his retirement from international cricket. He posted a video of his cricket journey and wrote, "Thanks. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired (sic)."
