Wipro Strikes Multi-Year 'Big Transformation' Deal With Global Business Giant - Company's Business & Employees To Get Benefited! Report 

IT major Wipro Ltd has received a multi-year infrastructure modernization and digital transformation contract from a Germany-based energy company. 

Wipro confirmed that it has been awarded a strategic, multi-year infrastructure modernisation and digital transformation services engagement by Germany-based energy company E.ON. 

With the help of E.ON’s legacy data centre operations to hybrid cloud model by leveraging its BoundaryLess Enterprise framework and Wipro HOLMES will be taken care off, the company said in a press release.

“Our hybrid cloud hosting strategy powered by AI will provide an impetus to E.ON’s business vision of consistently delivering technologically advanced, customer-centric energy solutions,” said N S Bala, Global Head of Energy, Natural Resources, Utilities & Construction at Wipro.

Further pointing out, Bala stated that in a fast changing world of prosumers and energy convergence, better efficiency and effectiveness has become a strategic need for organisations.
