PAN-Aadhaar linking: CBDT extends deadline

PAN-Aadhaar linking deadline has been extended to June 30 by the Central Board of Direct Taxes. Earlier the policy-making body of the tax department had set the deadline to link PAN and Aadhaar cards as March 31.

However, after "consideration of the matter" for filing I-T returns, the deadline for PAN-Aadhaar linking is being extended.

This is a fourth extension given by the government to individuals to link their Pan and Aadhaar cards.
