After TCS, Infosys plans to double salaries; to hire more engineering freshers!
Home > News Shots > Business newsOne of the top Fortune 500 companies, Infosys, is looking to employ more freshers who are experts at coding from top engineering colleges to create digitally talented pool, reports Business Insider.
They will be hired as power programmers. The company will identify the top performers after training period and they will be given preference over other candidates during promotions and incentives. The candidates will be offered twice the salary.
“Once they become power programmers, their salary gets doubled. And we are seeing it double every year," said Executive VC and head of HR at Infosys to Business Insider.
The company also has an initiative called Digital tag which will incentivise employees who are proficient in any on the 32 skills identified by the company. Around 2000 skilled employees get special quarterly bonuses.
Earlier, TCS has announced of a special test which will provide high pay to freshers and current employees if they clear the test.
