- Switching on Your Laptop As Soon As You Wake up: This is one of the worst work from home habits that most of us have developed. Exposing your eyes to blue light the moment you wake up can be detrimental to your eyesight and stress level which may also cause problems in sleeping, Times of India (ToI) reports.
- Working in Bed: Many of us would be doing this everyday while working, which is the major reason why you develop back pain. As per health experts, working for long hours sitting or lying on a bed is a toxic habit you should immediately get away with. By sitting for long hours on a bed not only affects your physical health but also productivity. With this unhealthy habit, you will become extremely lazy and tired.
- Being Engaged in Work 24/7: Working 24/7 is not a good sign for you or your family. Many people are workaholics, who keep themselves involved in work 24/7 and do not give time to other things. Sometimes, during working hours, keep refreshing the web pages and indulge in official calls which will help you to not be stressed. Work is important but not more than your health and life!
- Taking no Breaks Between Work: Taking small breaks are important while working so that you can keep your mind fresh and body fit. Many of us feel that, being at home is itself a break, NO..its NOT. While you are working from home, take breaks accordingly for your self and family.
- Continuous anxiety due to FOMO: When we are at office, we are aware of what is going on but due to crisis as we are at home, we have a fear of missing out on calls and important work. That fear, should not make us stressed nor impact your health. So, while keeping yourself updated with office work and pressure, one should relax and do as much as you can without impacting your health.
