The leg spinner turned out to be the most consistent player in the list who picked up
157 wickets (2nd highest in IPL history). He is also the only player who has taken the most number of hat-tricks in IPL history. Mishra scalped hat-tricks in 2008, 2011 and 2013 seasons.

Mishra's value in the IPL helped to pick him 6 times in the tournament. Initially, he was picked by Delhi Dareveils in 2008.

Then he played for Decan Chargers in 2013 and 2014 which later became Sunrisers Hyderabad. In 2015, Delhi picked him in the squad and released after 3 seasons. In 2018 he was bought again by Delhi and retained in 2019 as well.
