World's fourth largest economy, Japan sits on the seventh spot with an average speed of 18.0 Mbps. Like Singapore and Norway, Japan has also given a significant boost in the internet speed. the pop culture capital of Asia has increased the speed by 5 percent from last year.
Northern European nation of Finland is ranked at the eight spot. Finnish citizens enjoy an average speed of 17.6 Mbps. Quick fact: Finland has the same average speed for the past two years.
Finland is followed by another Northern European nation, Netherlands. It has an average internet speed of 17.3 Mbps.
The final spot was clinched by Latvia. Latvia has an average internet speed of 16.9 Mbps. However, Latvia is considered to be the biggest loser in this list. The Baltic country enjoyed an average internet speed of 19.5 Mbps in 2015.
