In an attempt to make travel easy for nearly 2,000 people, the Chennai Metro Rail Limited will reportedly start the construction of a foot overbridge near Alandur station. It will take about six to eight months for the completion of the work and is estimated to cost about Rs 6 crore. Reportedly, there will be lifts and escalators for the overbridge.
