Reportedly, Facebook has admitted to having known of a data breach back in 2015 but only one day before the news broke out did it try to suspend Cambridge Analytica. Allegedly, Facebook had previously asked the firm to get rid of all the collected information, but only learnt recently that Cambridge failed to do so.
