KABALI TAKES CONTROL OF MALAYALAM BO

There are around 400 active theaters in Kerala, and Kabali has made a grand release in 306 of them. This is a new record in Kerala . Notably, there were four Malayalam movies that released for Eid and many were running successfully In Kerala before the release of Kabali today, 22nd July.

According to reports, Mammootty starrer Kasaba, which was sailing well after a grand opening had to let go of a part of its shows to make way for Kabali. Other movies such as Shahjahanum Pareekuttyum, and Karinkunnam Sixes, got reduced drastically. The only movie that has held onto a good number of show counts is Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, the Biju Menon-Asif Ali starrer.

Anoop Menon-Murali Gopi starrer "Pa Va" has released along with Kabali and sure is expected to get more screens once the Kabali storm settles.
