Harish Uthaman is making giant strides in various film industries. He has recently signed his second Malayalam film Mayanadhi being directed by Ashiq Abu featuring Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leads.
Harish elaborates on this project, “I am very glad to be doing this film. I play a CBCID officer in it. I had done many cop roles and I was hesitant to take up one more cop role. But when Mayanadhi came, I could not refuse it.
The film is a thriller. I am not the villain here. I play a Tamil guy. Mayanadhi will be an important one in my career as an actor because my character is such. One more highlight is that it is being made on live sound. The finer nuances at the set would be completely grabbed which brings a lot of difference to the scene. I have a pair in the film, a newbie. Ilavarasu and Koothu Pattarai Jeyakumar are also with me. We three travel throughout the film.
I had shot for four days for the film and I am completely blown over by Ashiq Abu. He is such a brilliant director and I am amazed at his style of working. The next schedule would begin on the 10th of June and I am so kicked about this project.”
As regards his Tamil projects, Harish has Roobai which is ready for release, Othaikku Othai with Atharvaa, Suseenthiran’s Aram Seydhu Pazhagu and Vanangamudi with Arvind Swami.
